Dancing Apache Post
Per Debbe I am starting this post on Dancing Apache, She asked me to list some of the things that have already been arranged:
-
Regarding food: We were going to have potluck style eating arrangements but concerns about family fights and subsequent witholding of food has led us to scrap these plans. Easter eggs will be hidden throughout the property and will be the main source of sustenance for the weekend.
-
Regarding Drinks: There is a creek.
-
Regarding Restrooms: There is a creek.
-
Regarding washing clothes and dishes: There is a creek
-
Regarding Security: Hugh Jass will patrol the grounds nightly in a Lycra bodysuit. It is expected this will ward off any person, animal, mosquitoes, etc…
-
Regarding Games: We have planned out several games including ”Mock the old people (35+ years of age)“, “Guess my prescription (compliments of Susan)“ and, “Wheel of Forum (which common usage term will we redefine next?)”
I think that’s it. Anything else Debbe?

LOL, proof positive that Ryan is just funnier than hell!!!!!
Who is Hugh Jass and why isn’t Russ moderating these posts?
Hah, hah, thanks for the laugh Ryan. You really just never fail me, unless of course you aren’t posting at all which I must admit you are pretty random at.
I think Ryan summed it all up. Hope you like eggs!!!! See ya all soon.
We do need to put someone in charge of keeping the peace. Any volunteers?
Julie, you better come or you will no longer be my bcf. Do you really want to go there? Of course not. Bring Joey. Hurry.

One Question about the food…. Are we cooking everything on that list or choosing what we want to make and those are ideas? Also Ryan I think you were in charge of games. SO LETS HEAR IT! Also are we picking names for Easter baskets?
Loves!
It will be peaceful and perfect!

I am so sad…I want to come…I have to work… I am really really sad….but…I am still laughing about Ryan’s post…that was hysterical….I’m with you, Marci, Ryan is hillarious!
I am still going to work on it…
Aunt Marci said,

Susie Q, as far as the menu, Gwen and Raeni made it to help me out but in my mind, the family responsible for the meal can adjust accordingly. For example, the meal I’m responsible for will be the hard boiled eggs that Ryan suggested.
As far as Easter baskets, I think if some people want to exchange names, you should start a new thread and have people sign up if they are interested. However, there might be people interested that don’t read this blog (can you believe that)….anyways, feel free to organize it if you want.
Hope ya all like eggs!!!!!!

this is a copy of the email i sent …..
Thanks for all the responses.
Susie brought up the subject of Easter baskets on the blog. Grandma is taking care of all the kids. A couple of years ago we drew names for the adults and exchanged baskets. What do you think? Here’s my idea since we don’t have a lot of time. If you want to participate send back an email or post on the blog. I will put all the names in a hat and have Lukie draw names and then email you back who you have. So if you want to do it you can and if you don’t no problem!! But we would need to know within the next few days to give people an opportunity to plan. Right now we have about 31 adults coming. 28 for sures… 3 I haven’t heard from yet.
Let’s hear some thoughts!!!!
grammy said,

how about $20 for the baskets if you want to do them….

susanjeide said,

YEAY KEV! Good News. Marci PLEASE don’t feed Dad the eggs, we are sleeping in the camper with him. That might kill anyone. Well now that I think about it…..Maybe it kills cancer or causes it one of the 2.
Aunt Marci said,
March 13, 2008 at 1:06 pm
Susie Q, I am not “feeding” your dad the eggs, only providing the eggs to him. I am only following Ryan’s instructions. I always do what I am told. I am submissive by nature. I can’t help it.
Hurry.
